Tucked away in a quiet mews, yet just a stone’s throw from the popular village centre in Askrigg, sits this lovely mews style cottage. Step through the front door into a large entrance porch, with an old school bench and a wall mounted Ordnance Survey map, great for finding your bearings and plotting walking routes. For the more adventurous, try a climb up the hill of Addleborough across the dale. The Yorkshire Dales offer spectacular scenery and an abundance of walks of all ability levels to explore.

The historic town of Richmond, famed for its castle, Georgian theatre, riverside walks and abundance of independent shops and tea rooms, is around a 30-minute drive. The Forbidden Corner in Middleham, a quirky venue with its labyrinth of caves, folly and underground caverns is 13 miles away, and is hugely popular with families.
