Colchester Zoo is a bit further out of town, but is a great day out home to over 160 species and set in 60 acres of parkland and lakes. Great Yarmouth is another popular seaside town and has a famous greyhound race track. Just down the road is Kessingland beach and a visit to Africa Wild is well worth a visit.
