Lower Ledge Farm consists of four lovingly furnished barn conversions (two of which are holiday homes), nestled in the lovely rural village of Doynton, just on the outskirts of Bath and on the doorstep to the Cotswolds.

These two semi-detached cottages have been renovated to a high standard, and designed with guest’s comfort in mind. Tull is conveniently all on the ground floor, with accommodation set over four bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite, making this an ideal choice for the less mobile and those who prefer a little more privacy. Budding also has three bedrooms downstairs, two with their own en-suite, and a bedroom and en-suite upstairs.

These properties are a perfect base for families or groups wanting to discover Bath, Somerset, and the Cotswolds, conveniently situated just 5 minutes from the M4. The World Heritage city of Bath is only 8 miles away, a city with a story to tell. Enveloped in the hills of south west England, it has its own unmistakable identity, grounded in the roots from centuries past and carved out since by passionate locals and spirited fans.

Tetbury and Castle Combe are around 25 minutes away, where you can enjoy a spot of lunch in some of their wonderful traditional English pubs, followed by a walk around the beautiful Cotswold villages dotted around the area. Stone Henge, Amesbury and Avebury can all be reached within an hour’s drive, and are sure to make for fun filled days out. Pack a picnic and head to Glastonbury, Wells or Cheddar, all within a 40-minute drive and offering wonderful places to explore and discover. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

Set on the tip of the Cotswolds you are just a short drive to the famous Chipping Campden area you are perfectly positioned to explore the Cotswolds Way. Want to get a little wild? Take a safari and visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park or soak up the flowers at Kiftsgate Court gardens.
Looking for a truly special meal, or simply do not want the hassle of cooking? Then take advantage of the estate’s private chef. Book the cook whilst you enjoy the delights of your surroundings or simply have a soak in the hot tub or indulge in a personal training session or yoga for one to one or more (must be booked in advance).

Augusta House is located on the Lower Mill Estate in Somerford Keynes, a development of stunning, contemporary homes situated in a private 450-acre natural reserve. The gated and managed Estate comprises woodland and meadows, crossed by three rivers and surrounded by serene lakes. Guests can enjoy the Estate’s ArtSpa which includes indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, an eco-pool, sauna, steam room, gym, a hard tennis court and treatments by arrangement (at additional cost). You are also free to enjoy the nature trails and cycle tracks on the Estate, as well as boating and fishing. Walks around the largest lake, Somerford Lagoon, are restricted during winter months when migrant birds over-winter, but there is good bird-watching from hides dotted around the Estate.

The wonderful countryside of the Cotswolds surrounds the water park, and Bath, Oxford, Cirencester and Cheltenham are all within easy reach. Chestnut Lodge is a mid-terrace property over three floors. It has the space and facilities for up to 8 adults and a baby. A lovely feature of the property is the uninterrupted view of the adjacent lake and the setting sun from the lounge and patio areas. Situated in the picturesque Cotswold village of Chipping Campden, Orchard House enjoys an elevated position with lovely views of Dovers Hill. This terraced property is only a 3-minute walk away from the famous high street of Chipping Campden, which offers an introduction into the beauty of a quintessentially English Cotswold village. Lined with interesting antique shops, galleries, gift shops, restaurants, country inns and tea shops, Chipping Campden is a real jewel of a destination for friends and families alike. A little further afield, but still only a short drive away, guests will be able to visit many of the smaller Cotswolds towns and villages too, including Broadway, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh. Statford-upon-Avon makes for an enjoyable day out for guests of all ages, along with the historic cathedral city of Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, Regency Cheltenham, Oxford and Cirencester.

Orchard House provides a perfect accommodation to accompany the fabulous location. The ground floor boasts a large living/dining room with solid wooden floor, exposed beams and wood burner. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped offering ample room for families. There is also a delightful sun room overlooking the garden. The solid wood staircase leads upstairs to three double bedrooms, all of which have their own en-suite shower room. There is also a twin bedroom which has use of the family bathroom comprising a bath and separate shower cubicle. Outside there is a rear garden with space to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Situated on the edge of the beautiful Forest of Dean within a working sheep farm, this detached holiday cottage is ideally located to enjoy and explore all that the surroundings have to offer. Activities in abundance are available in the forest and within the Wye Valley. Idyllic walks, cycling/mountain biking with a marked route in the forest, adventure parks such as Puzzlewood and Go Ape, steam railway and caving at Clearwell Caves are all within easy reach. Visit Symonds Yat and Yat Rock for wonderful scenery and rock climbing, also famous for its nesting peregrine falcons. Canoeing and fishing are available along the River Wye. There are many castles to visit, and the cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester are within easy driving distance. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

Amidst the rolling uplands of the South Cotswolds, this spacious cottage boasts a large paddock-style garden. Within a 20 mile radius you can visit stunning, architectural Georgian Bath with Thermae Spa and Bath Abbey, Bristol with the SS Great Britain, We the Curious, Bristol suspension bridge, or travel to Gloucester and visit the Cathedral, The Quays for shopping, Bowood House in Chippenham and Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust. The TV series, ’Bridgerton’, was filmed in Bath and Bristol, and some filming was carried out in Badminton, the next village to The Pump House. Or more locally, within 10 miles, the historic town of Tetbury, the market town of Wotton-under-Edge, or visit the farmers market in Stroud, Westonbirt Aboretum, Dyrham Park and for fans of Poldark, you can visit Chavenage House and Horton Court. The Pump House is well placed for a holiday touring this beautiful area either by car, bike or foot. The Cotswold Way is only ½ mile from The Pump House, and there are many outstanding walks on the doorstep. Or if you just want take in the view there is plenty of outside space, The Pump House and the owners property next door sits, within a few acres of grounds, where the chickens roam free all year and the sheep part of the year.
