There are many superb walking opportunities on the island, and the Anglesey Coastal Path passes the cottage. The Snowdonia National Park with its numerous outdoor pursuits is a short drive away. For gardening enthusiasts there is the lovely Hidden Garden at Plas Cadnant close by, and Crug Farm and the wonderful Bodnant Gardens are a worthwhile trip.
