The cottage boasts three good-sized bedrooms all located on the first floor and with luxury linen guaranteeing a perfect night’s sleep. In addition, two of the bedrooms offer ensuite facilities with shower cubicles and heated towels rails. On the same floor the lovely family bathroom is equipped with a shower over the bath and a Heated towel rail. Down to the ground floor, which is warmed by underfloor heating, you have a very comfortable living area which is a great place to kick back and relax in after day exploring this stunning area. Stables Cottage has a gorgeous kitchen/diner which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs along with dining table with enough seating for six, a fantastic for socialising and entertaining, perfect if you are away celebrating. Doors leading from the kitchen you are greeted by the patio area, ideal to sit out and have a drink alfresco style in the summer months.
The Cottage is in the pretty little village of Markington with its own local pub within walking distance from the cottage which serves local ales and classic pub grub. The cottage is also well placed for walking and exploring the stunning Yorkshire Dales with its scenic walks and bike trails, whilst the fashionable spa town of Harrogate, Fountains Abbey, RHS Garden Harlow Carr and Studley Royal are just a short drive away. River Oak is a wonderful newly built property set in the delightful little village of Rainton, which is ideal for families and friends wanting that special house in a fantastic location for your unique holiday. The property has a modern contemporary feel with no expense spared by the owners. This has to be a ’one off’ property in this area, there are not many houses that sleep eight guests in four bedrooms that have so much space for everyone. Entrance is gained into the hallway flowing through to the spacious living area with comfortable sofas and a large Smart TV, giving a great place to snuggle up on those colder evenings with a glass or two of red wine. The designer kitchen/dining room features all the usual mod cons and is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. 22 Sea is a beautifully presented end of terrace house nestled in a quiet corner of ‘The Bay’, a purpose built holiday village overlooking Filey bay on the picturesque North Yorkshire coastline. With open plan living, and stunning full height windows providing access to a first floor balcony.

The dining table provides plenty of seating for six and is ideally placed to enjoy a family breakfast or delicious home cooked evening meal.
Two sets of bi-fold doors provide access to a covered patio area and flood the room with natural light. An understairs cupboard provides space for storage and a WC completes the ground floor accommodation.
Take the stairs to the first floor and you will find two stunning and spacious bedrooms, a kingsize double and a double room with traditional bunk beds. Both bedrooms offer the ’wow’ factor with vaulted ceilings and full height cathedral windows which open up to provide access to a full length, south facing balcony with lovely views across the holiday park. The cottage has been built from beautiful traditional Yorkshire stone, and is tucked away in the grounds of the owner’s home Cherry Garth. It has an open plan living area with a welcoming wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a busy day out exploring the spectacular Yorkshire coast and countryside, and upon arrival you will be welcomed with a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits. There are lovely views from the property onto the garden and the bedroom window overlooks the paddock, where sheep graze.

The picturesque village of Thornton le Dale is located on the edge of the North York Moors, a mere one mile from Pickering. From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (aka Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat) and the seaside town of Whitby where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North York Moors.
