Winebeck Farm Studio offers couples a perfect holiday retreat whilst being ideally located to explore all that the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
This ground floor property is open plan throughout which presents a well presented, fully equipped kitchen for all your culinary needs should you not wish to dine out at the many superb eateries close by along with a cosy sitting area which boasts a Freeview TV and a dining table which is ideal to have breakfast at and fuel up for the day’s adventures. On the same floor you have a plush kingsize bed and a delightful bathroom with a shower cubicle and a heated towel rail. To the rear of the property, you have a small patio area with seating, a great place to have a drink al fresco or a coffee whilst taking in the fresh morning air.
Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this a perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists, and ramblers, with plenty of walks, cycle paths, bridleways, and established footpaths into picturesque countryside. There are two country pubs within walking distance of the property both serving home cooked food and worth a visit. Winebeck Farm is also situated just 300 yards from the popular Dalesway walk.
For those seeking to be less active, Ilkley is 5 minutes’ drive with its variety of shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs and afternoon tea is a must. Bolton Abbey is just a short drive away offering plenty of walking within the magnificent 30,000-acre grounds and picture-perfect picnic spots beside the river. The charming market town of Skipton also known as the ‘gateway to the dales’, is also 10 minutes away which is home to an ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market. Pub and restaurant ½ mile.

For a relaxing day out venture further into the Yorkshire Dales to the picturesque villages of Grassington, 12 miles, and Kettlewell, 5 miles further, calling at Kilnsey Trout Farm on the way and a stop off to watch the climbers hang off Kilnsey Crag. Many walks and cycle routes for all abilities can be found here and all around the area. Country pubs serving local produce are within easy reach should you wish to dine out during your stay, with the closest just 500 yards away and easily reached via a stroll through the estate grounds. Top Lodge provides a tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life but will come alive when filled with your family and friends, yet is within very easy reach of the main town of Skipton and surrounding attractions, what more could you want. Autumn Rose Cottage is ideally situated with comfort in mind. A real home from home and recently refurbished in 2022, this two-bedroom property is a great place for family and friends to create everlasting memories. This two-bedroom cottage accommodates up to four guests over two double bedrooms. Entering the property, from a secluded wrap around patio area, you are greeted by an entrance hallway and allocated area to store your muddy boots and coats. Here you will also find your dog blankets ready for your arrival; there are other doggy extras including an outdoor warm water doggy-shower, towels, treats, bowls & even leads for if you forget. A cosy living room, benefitting from a wood burner and two large, sumptuous leather sofas, is the perfect place to relax in and unwind after a busy day exploring the town centre and the Dales!

A fully fitted kitchen with a two-seater leather lounge sofa, dining table and chairs awaits you with everything you need to prepare those home cooked meals. Wander through to find two double bedrooms, each with king size beds, fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets and dressing tables. You will also find hairdryers and hair straighteners in your dressing tables to help you prepare for the nightlife that Skipton provides, should the mood take you. A separate bathroom can be found with a large rainfall walk-in shower and heated towel radiator.

Cherry Garth Cottages are located in the centre of Thornton le Dale, ’Yorkshire’s little gem’. Cherry Blossom has been named after the cherry trees which border the garden. The cottage has been built from beautiful traditional Yorkshire stone, and is tucked away in the grounds of the owner’s home Cherry Garth. It has an open plan living area with a welcoming wood burner to snuggle up in front of after a busy day out exploring the spectacular Yorkshire coast and countryside, and upon arrival you will be welcomed with a lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee and biscuits. There are lovely views from the property onto the garden and the bedroom window overlooks the paddock, where sheep graze.

The picturesque village of Thornton le Dale is located on the edge of the North York Moors, a mere one mile from Pickering. From here you can take a ride on the famous steam train to Grosmont, Goathland (aka Aidensfield in the classic TV series Heartbeat) and the seaside town of Whitby where you can climb the 199 steps to Whitby Abbey. Those looking for a quieter pace of life may prefer to walk the many footpaths and bridleways over the North York Moors.
