Welcome to Bunny Meadows, here you will enjoy the freedom of a country holiday in a large detached, tastefully decorated farmhouse with a good standard throughout. A truly home from home experience providing en-suite bedrooms, every room being well-equipped and thought out with plenty of space and providing a relaxing atmosphere. Bedroom 4 and 5, on the first floor have interlinking doors, great for families with small children. It is the perfect location for a family get together to remember, with your own private paddock to enjoy with glorious views across the owner’s horse farm.
Bunny Meadows has been thoughtfully and tastefully decorated throughout with soft furnishings. No expense has been spared on the comfortable beds and of course those little touches which will make your holiday extra special, including the huge farmhouse kitchen with Range cooker. For alfresco dining a barbecue can be found on the patio, or stretch your legs around your private paddock and enjoy the freedom which it offers.
Not too near but not too far, Bunny Meadows is surrounded by a wealth of historic attractions and you will be centrally located for Pembrokeshire and the whole of south Wales. The Gower has lots to offer and many tourist attractions are only a short drive away. Locally the towns of Carmarthen and St Clears are only a 6 minute drive. The village shop, pub and restaurant are only 1½ miles….no hustle and bustle of busy tourist towns here!
Take a trip to Llanstephan and enjoy afternoon tea in the mansion house or walk on the sandy beach and then visit the castle. Only 15 minutes away is Laugharne, home of Dylan Thomas, again with a beautiful sandy beach and castle with a tearoom. There is also Pembrey Country Park or Heatherton and Oakwood theme parks to visit or for younger guests (and parents!) visit Folly Farm with lambs, all things fluffy and even tigers and giraffes. A short drive away is Skanda Vale a multi faith ashram which welcomes 90,000 pilgrims a year for those who need a peaceful retreat to stay whilst visiting the temples. A great location for a fantastic holiday with something to suit everybody. Beach 4½ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1½ miles.

Enjoy the delights of Middleton Cottage, set peacefully within the quaint hamlet of Porthrhyd within the rolling countryside of Carmarthenshire and walking distance to the National Botanical Gardens of Wales. Set around a 15 minute drive to the Carmarthen Bay coastline, this detached holiday home is a short drive from the M4, with access to Pembrokeshire and the stunning Gower Peninsula makes this the perfect touring location. Enjoy a plethora of walks from your doorstep to include a host of activities at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales with a bird of prey centre, butterfly house and Europe’s largest single span glass house.
Middleton Cottage has been lovingly furnished throughout with a spacious open plan kitchen diner with views over the rear enclosed garden, the cosy living room boasts a log burner and is ideal to relax in front of with a good film after a busy day sightseeing. Enjoy a read of some good books or some board games in the snug which acts as a second living space which is ideal to keep children entertained. On the first floor both light and airy bedrooms have been finished with comfort in mind and offer a good nights sleep.
The ancient town of Kidwelly is a 15-minute drive away and is home to one of the finest preserved Norman castles in Wales, along this wonderful coast is Pembrey Country Park, set in 500 acres of woodland where you can learn to dry ski and toboggan, there’s a children’s play area and 8 miles of golden sands at Cefn Sidan beach. Dylan Thomas’ stomping ground and the township of Laugharne are well worth a trip. Here you can visit his writing shed and see his local pub. The famous seaside walled town of Tenby and the Gower Peninsula are a great day out and within an hour’s drive.

Springer Cottage is a spacious mid terraced holiday cottage situated in the village of Llansteffan, which itself is nestled between the Towy Estuary with its glorious sandy beach and the rolling Welsh countryside. French doors extend the living space into a fully enclosed, landscaped rear garden which benefits from a sun trap patio area and a back gate leading to the beach and the village itself. Inside, facilities such as a dishwasher and pet room/utility room, along with an abundance of soft furnishings, make Springer Cottage a haven of comfort and convenience.

A superb base for exploring the sensational counties of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Just a 300 metre amble from the back gate takes you to the centre of the village with its pub and shop. The Norman Castle dominates the headland above its sandy beach, 12th century church and ancient streets, this place often feels suspended in time and is widely regarded as Wales’s best kept secret! With fantastic views across the Towy Estuary to the village of Ferryside, Llansteffan boasts a foodie pub, cafe and a fine restaurant; plenty of choice for re fuelling following coastal walks around the headland of Wharley Point to take in the sensational views of the Taf Estuary and Laugharne: Those in search of further gastronomic adventure must head for Laugharne: Once home to the Welsh writer, Dylan Thomas, it’s now home to numerous restaurants, pubs, cafes and galleries. Enjoy a a lunch time snack alongside the water at The Boat House Cafe, also part museum; this place was the last home of the much loved writer. Or feast on fine, locally sourced produce at Seaview, a splendid restaurant within what was once his first marital home in the town. With regular family friendly activities taking place at its magnificent medieval castle, Laugharne is a place you’ll want to visit time and time again. The county town of Carmarthen lies just 8 miles from Springer Cottage and offers plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants, galleries, cinema etc. The town lays claim to being the oldest in Wales and originates from AD75. A roman amphitheatre remains in the town, one of only 7 in the UK. Legend has it that Carmarthen was the home of Merlin, the wizard of Arthurian folklore; something lauded annually at a summer festival celebrating all things myth and magical at Carmarthen Park. The Angel Vaults Restaurant provides a great venue for lunches or evening meals for those exploring this intriguing county town. Whether returning from the ’Go Ape’ adventures at Pembrey Country Park, pony trekking across stunning beaches or a boat trip out of Tenby to the serenity of Caldey Island, you can’t fail to appreciate the comfort and convenience of Springer Cottage. The Old Vicarage is nestled peacefully within the township of Laugharne. This magnificent Grade II listed Georgian house has been sympathetically restored, enabling the property to retain all of its original attractive features including stone walls, slate and original tiled flooring im some rooms, high ceilings. Welcoming touches have been added such as a wood burner and new Oak flooring to provide a wonderful ambience for cosy nights in.
This charming former vicarage dating back to the 1800’s offers the perfect holiday base for families or groups who are looking to explore the rugged coastline and enchanted sites of west Wales, whilst enjoying an elegant and luxurious home with the added bonus of a private hot tub where you can enjoy star gazing into the night. Enjoy a stroll down onto the Grist where you can see Laugharne Castle, the estuary and enjoy spotting lots of wildlife and birdlife. Alternatively, stroll out to Ginst Point where you can reach 6 miles of golden sands at Pendine beach, made famous by the land speed record achieved here. Within this picture postcard township you can enjoy a plethora of eateries and pubs with locally brewed ales. Follow the steps of Dylan Thomas and visit his writing shed and the Browns Hotel which he frequented.

South Pembrokeshire’s top beaches are accessible within a 15-minute drive. A trip to Tenby is fun for all the family, with a selection of sandy beaches, shops, cafés and restaurants. The theme parks of Heatherton World of Adventure and Oakwood Theme Park are a great day out, or for younger families take a trip to Folly Farm Zoo, all within 40 minutes’ drive. Beach 1 mile. Pendegy Mill lies within a wooded valley on the edge of the rural village of Llanybri, nestled in the Carmarthenshire countryside. Sited a convenient distance from the historic coastal village of Llansteffan, it is just half a mile from the West Wales Coastal Path. These two beautiful cottages, situated next to the owners’ home, are the perfect base to explore all that Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire have to offer. Mill Cottage was a working water mill; the mill race running into the babbling stream flowing through the beautiful grounds out to the River Taff and into the Carmarthen Bay. These two Welsh stone barns, The Granary and Mill Cottage, have been lovingly restored and offer an idyllic holiday location. They have been finished to a very good standard throughout and have been thoughtfully furnished. On the ground floor is an open plan living space which is superb for social and family gatherings. Take in the coastal air outside in the shared lawns and garden - the perfect spot to dine al fresco and enjoy a delicious meal cooked on the BBQ.
Take a trip into nearby Llansteffan for freshly brewed coffee or travel back in time with a visit to Llansteffan Castle which is steeped in history, and boasts commanding views across the estuary of the River Towy and out towards the Gower Peninsula. Travelling west, a trip to Laugharne is a must. Here you can visit the house and writing shed of famous poet Dylan Thomas, or stop for a refreshing drink and meal at one of the local pubs he would often frequent. Further along this unique coastline is the village of Pendine, which boasts 7 miles of beautiful sandy beach where the land speed record was set in the famous car, Babs. The car was excavated from the Pendine Sands and can be seen today at the Museum of Speed in the town. Within a 40-minute drive you can visit Carmarthen, the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, the famous walled seaside town of Tenby, or enjoy a day out at Wales’ largest theme park, Oakwood. Moss Cottage is situated in the heart of the coastal town of Burry Port, on the doorstep of the Millennium Coastal footpath that meanders through the stunning scenery of Llanelli through to the historic town of Kidwelly. Lovingly restored, this terraced cottage has retained all of the property’s original charm and character, with an open plan living/dining room complete with a focal inglenook fireplace and a great sociable kitchen/breakfast room. On the first floor, the character continues with original stripped back floor boards and a restored feature fireplace within the master bedroom. The two double bedrooms also boast sea views. Make the most of the balmy summer days on the enclosed courtyard, while a few steps further away there is a lawned garden to enjoy. There is an in house gallery which supports local artists, pictures can be purchased from the owner.
With the beautiful Gower to the east and Pembrokeshire to the west, Moss Cottage is perfectly positioned to explore south and west Wales, but there is also so much to discover within Carmarthenshire. It has it all - castles, gardens, beaches, unique towns, varied landscapes and an overwhelming choice of activities. Enjoy a plethora of traditional Welsh pubs specialising in organic and home cooked food. 6 miles away is Pembrey Country Park and beach, with 550 acres of woodland, Segway and cycle hire, pitch and putt, nature trails, a dry ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales. Explore the history of the area and visit Kidwelly Castle, Laugharne Castle and Dylan Thomas Boat House. The National Botanic Garden of Wales, with a huge glass dome, is perfect for a day out whatever the weather, or discover a wide range of wildlife at the Llanelli Wetland Centre. One of the oldest towns, Carmarthen, is easily accessible by car, and horse racing enthusiasts will appreciate the close proximity to Ffos Las Racecourse. One of Wales’ top attractions, Pembrey Country Park with its many footpaths, 8 miles of golden sandy beach, 550 acres of woodlands, dry ski slope and the longest toboggan run in Wales, is only a short drive away. Travelling inland, you will find the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, complete with the largest single span glass house in the world. Beach 4 miles. Marros Hill Log Cabin is set within grounds of the owners small holding, nestled on the edge of the valley and enjoying sweeping views down across the Carmarthenshire countryside and out towards this beautiful coastline. Enjoy a short walk to the quaint hamlet of Marros or in 20 minutes you can be enjoying Marros beach which on low tide joins Pendine beach with 7 miles of golden sands all accessible on foot. Pendine is made famous for the land speed record, which was achieved by Malcolm Campbell; here you can step back in time at the Museum of Speed on the waterfront, enjoy the local traditional Welsh pub for an evening meal, breakfast at the café, and village shop with all the essentials.
