The Annexe at Tenniside is a two-bedroom, ground floor property with its own parking and private garden. Located near a small stream and surrounded by woodland, you will find the beach to be a 10-minute walk away.
The property has everything that you would expect for a comfortable stay. The garden is very quiet and you can hear the water bubbling from the small stream. The owner has installed outdoor lighting and throws so you can enjoy the relaxing evenings whilst the little ones are tucked in bed. For those that are adventurous, why not lie in the hammock? The garden is full of colourful plants, and these are sold by the owner in the small stall on the road.
If you turn right out of the property you will see a huge tennis club, so for a small fee you can book the court, do not forget your rackets! A little further on is a very well-equipped play area for children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. There is basketball and a football pitch, as well as a table tennis to use. A little further you will find the duck pond, a beautiful place to walk, with plenty of benches, rowing boats full of flowers, and the island has a lovely waterfall. In the village you have local shops, restaurants, takeaways and cafés, offering everything from fish and chips to a roast dinner, catering for all types of cuisine you won’t be disappointed.
Perranporth beach is a 3-mile stretch of sand, a fantastic place for the whole family. There is a tidal pool at Chapel Rock as well as a fantastic watering hole. The Atlantic surf attracts surfers all year round, and there is something to do all year round. Perranporth, EnglandWelcome to Chyvelyn, a newly converted studio suitable for two in the seaside town of Perranporth, on the north coast of Cornwall. There is so much to do in the area, known as the ‘gateway’, to one of Cornwall’s most spectacular beaches, the town has a much quieter feel than the neighbouring Newquay.
This is an ideal base to explore this part of the country, the beach is over 3 miles of golden sand, and on a calm day you a picture the smugglers coming in with their stolen goods. Ideal for all ages, and open to dogs all year round, our four-legged friends can run free whilst you enjoy a stroll or maybe take a dip in the sea. This is a very popular location for surfers as it is not quite as busy as the neighbouring Fistral Beach in Newquay, it offers great waves at Droskyn Point and at the western end of the beach, and there is an outside tap at the property for washing wetsuits and boards with drying hooks for your wetsuits. For those that enjoy history check out Perranzabuloe Millennium sundial on the cliffs below Droskyn car park, the views are stunning.
Ideal for a mini vacation, just over 8 miles from Newquay it is surrounded by smaller villages such as Goonhavern where the Saints Trail has just been opened to walkers and cyclists. Travelling west is the village of St Agnes, home to dog-friendly beaches, and spectacular coast paths it is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, sample some of the delicacies at the local pubs and restaurants whilst you are here. Walkers you will be spoilt, the coast path between Newquay and St Agnes offers stunning views of rugged coastlines and sandy expanses, rich in mining history at Cligga Head you can still see minerals oozing out of the cliffs. Perranporth, EnglandThis superbly spacious, lodge-style static caravan is nestled within a popular holiday park located within a fantastic area, a few miles from some of the most iconic beaches on the North Cornwall coast. Once inside, you enter a bright, open-plan living area, with very well-equipped kitchen including a wine cooler and excellent central island breakfast bar. The living area has a supremely comfortable sofa and twin wing backed chairs, electric wood burner and TV. There are two bedrooms with stylish lighting and lots of storage. Bedroom one has a double bed and en-suite facilities and the second has twin beds. The family bathroom has a further double shower. Throughout the property there are smart lines and clever understated designs. The outside veranda wraps around half of the property, has pleasant seating and is enclosed. There are four steps up to the veranda from the ground level.
The park has many facilities open all year round, with a heated indoor swimming pool, cosy bar and eatery with log fire, outdoor adventure park for the little ones and a skate park too. Venture further afield (but not far!) and you find the beaches of Perranporth, Holywell and Perran Sands. With huge swathes of soft, golden sand, rockpools for all ages to explore and miles of walks with breath-taking vistas in every direction, you are really spoilt for choice!
Just 10 minutes away is Newquay, a thriving coastal town and mecca for water sports, most notably surfing. There is a plethora of shops, a zoo, golf course and all weather aquarium. Set off inland and find the world famous Eden Project, an incredible world underneath huge biomes, including the world’s largest indoor rainforest.
