Head upstairs where there are a further two well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king size bedroom with another en-suite walk-in shower room, and a triple bedroom, each promising a delightful space to wake up to each morning. Head into Chatton: a gorgeous country village nestled in the pretty Northumbrian Valley, bordered by the Cheviots. The local hotel and restaurant serving excellent food, a well-stocked village store and Chatton art gallery compliment the quaint village atmosphere. Keen walkers are sure to be impressed by St Cuthberts Way, a 100-kilometre long-distance trail between the Scottish Borders town of Melrose and Lindisfarne off the coast of Northumberland, named after a 7th-century saint. The nearby town of Wooler is set along the last leg of the journey, so you needn’t traverse the full length. Wooler itself is just under 4 miles away and features a good range of shops, pubs, restaurants, and facilities. If you fancy something exciting, why not visit Chillingham Castle, only a short drive away, and book onto one of their ghost tours! Why not try something a little different? Discover your inner country-self and try clay pigeon shooting at Fowberry Moor Farm in Wooler, where they also offer wine tasting!
A 20-minute drive brings you to the popular village of Bamburgh a stunningly attractive small village set on the northern stretch of the Northumberland Coast. It is without doubt dominated by its magnificently striking castle that can be seen for miles around. Why not hit the waves yourself with a trip to the Farne Islands? Take a boat trip from Seahouses and see the Medieval Pele Tower and Victorian Lighthouse, as well as the famous seabird colony. Depending on the time of year, you might catch a glimpse of the friendly seals and puffins that visit the islands’ shores. Golfers flock to Bamburgh, where the Bamburgh Castle Golf Club offers a particularly picturesque round. It’s short but tough and boasts some of the best views in the country! Haybale Barn is an ideal base for exploring the moors and coastline in this diverse friendly county where you will be sure of a really warm Northumbrian welcome. Beach 9¾ miles.

This stylish, detached, converted barn is just a few hundred yards from the heart of Chipping Campden. As the main town in the north-western area of the Cotswolds of high hills and secluded coomb (with its magnificent ’wool’ church, wide market street and beautiful buildings that span at least five centuries), this would make the perfect base from which to tour and explore. With an acre of grounds and ample parking for visitors, Campden Barn offers a high level of comfort with limestone flooring in bathrooms and underfloor heating on both floors of the property.
The magnificent gardens of Kiftsgate Court and Hidcote Manor - with its lovely views over the Vale of Evesham - are not to be missed, as well as many other National Trust properties in the locality; Stratford-upon-Avon (approximately 8 miles), shops, restaurants and pubs, 200 yards.

Carr House farmhouse is set on a working farm, but only minutes away from the attractions of Scarborough and only 1½ miles from the well known surfing beach at Cayton Bay, which also welcomes dog walkers throughout the year. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the large landscaped gardens with a summerhouse, apple trees and barbecue, with a perimeter fence making it ideal for both children and pets. This detached farmhouse is ideal for touring the North Yorkshire coast, from Whitby in the north to Bridlington in the south. This glorious barn conversion has been meticulously designed and restored to create a luxurious holiday some for families and friends to enjoy. The Owl Barn is in a secluded spot, at a Hobby Farm within the owner’s grounds, there are chickens, turkey’s and ducks on site – Children are welcome to help with egg collection. Up to two well behaved dogs (kept on leads) are welcome (more dogs can be agreed with the owner before booking) and there are also dog kennels provided adjacent to the property in a shady spot, if you wish to go out for the day, sole use for Owl Barn guests. An enclosed horse paddock is also available for dogs to run free, horses accepted by request and private arrangement. Perfect for nature lovers, the owner offers access to a tranquil private nature walk within their grounds. Where you can enjoy the local nature. There is a pond and river at the end of the grounds, so please pay attention to warning signs and always supervise children and dogs. There are owl boxes in the trees with fitted cameras, which you will soon be able to view.
Conveniently placed, in the Norfolk village – Saham Toney, next door to an 18 hole Golf course and within a 5-minute drive to Watton, for all essential shops. Local pub within 1 mile. If you would like to explore the local area, Thetford Forest for high lodge forest adventure, Go Ape high ropes course and lots of great cycling and walking routes are just a 30-minute drive.
