Known as the former estate keepers cottage, Salomons Country Cottage was originally built in the 17th century and has kept its traditional look following its renovations. The cottage has been lovingly restored to a high standard throughout, retaining the period features and introducing modern touches such as an Amazon Echo and Smart TVs in all bedrooms. The three beautifully appointed bedrooms sleep six guests in total, with the master bedroom indulging in extra luxury with an en-suite bathroom, complete with roll-top bath and complimentary toiletries. From the kitchen, doors lead out to your own private courtyard with dining facilities, great for spending summer evenings in the midst of nature.

Salomons Estate was built for Sir David Salomon, the first Jewish Lord Mayor of London in the 1850s by architect Decimus Burton. Set within an envious position, there are 36 acres of rolling gardens, parkland and woods surrounding you. Enjoy strolling around the estate on a sunny day following the woodland walk. This is also the perfect place for your four-legged friend too, as the park and cottage are both dog friendly. The main mansion house on the estate is keeping within its original Victorian feel and boasts glorious décor throughout. The site also has a restaurant, bar, 24 hour reception, gym, Salomons Museum, outdoor terrace area and function rooms which host weddings, celebrations and business meetings.

The estate is situated on the edge of the spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells, steeped in history and grand architecture. Set on the owner’s smallholding with poultry and livery yard, they are perfect for couples looking to have all the quaint village amenities on their doorstep and are also within a short distance to a stunning beach area. It is a short leisurely stroll into Herne where you reach a village pub that serves delicious food, and a bit further on is the local shop.

The cottages have been renovated to a modern standard for a more than comfortable stay, offering a spacious open plan living space with patio doors leading to the garden. There is a charming bedroom upstairs, and a sofa bed in the living room for alternative sleeping if needed. A stone’s throw from the Royal Military canal, where you can explore by water, with rowing boats and kayaks to hire. Wander down the cobbled and historic high street dotted with independent shops, quaint tea rooms and cafés, and a great choice of restaurants to explore, just a few minutes’ walk from Hydrangea House, you couldn’t be in a better position to explore all that Hythe has to offer.

Built in 1875, Hamilton Lodge is a Victorian house featuring its own elegant turret. Each room has been designed to have a different theme from a classic antique feel to modern contemporary.
The Lodge is built over three floors with loads of space for between 12 and 15 guests, not counting babies and dogs. Many original features have been maintained, including the lead glass in the entrance hall which has been used as a colour scheme for the interior design. Breathtakingly high ceilings with beautiful chandeliers crown the reception rooms.
The large sitting room is spacious and has comfortable seating to allow all guests to come together for movie nights, whilst the elegant library allows for some quiet space. The large open plan living space at the back of the house is ideal for socialising, cooking, dining and just chilling and chatting. The sliding doors open out onto the garden to create a large space for entertaining.
On the upper floors, Hamilton Lodge has six bedrooms. Bedroom 1 boasting a rocking chair in the turret, and a chaise longue. The three bathrooms all have under floor heating and allow ample space and convenience for all guests. There are side sea views from some of the bedrooms, as the sea is just a few yards away.

Westgate on Sea is a friendly seaside town which boasts a wide sandy beach, local shops and cafes and a lovely old-fashioned independent cinema.
There is a well known path called the Viking Trail which passes through Westgate on Sea and offers a lovely coastal foot and cycle path from Reculver to Ramsgate. Margate is about a 20-minute coastal walk, or is a short five-minute drive, or train ride.

Set on a clifftop, carved into an impressive chalk shelf, there really is no location like it, with the most stunning sea views over the English channel, with France in the distance, and across the beautiful Kent coastline over the Wear Bay and to Dungeness in the distance.
Designed to make the most of the views, nearly every room has a backdrop of the sea, with the neutral white walls purposely drawing your eye outside. Situated on the famous white cliffs between Folkestone and Dover, an iconic symbol of home and once war time defence, yet now a place to simply admire the stunning scenery.
