Set all on the ground floor, you enter into the porch and step through the French door into the open plan living/kitchen/dining areas, with the living area having an inglenook fireplace with electric wood burner, comfortable seating, including a sofa, fireside chairs and views from the lounge and master bedroom windows to the West Somerset Steam Railway. The kitchen area is well equipped with fridge, freezer, electric hob and oven as well as a microwave, allowing you to rustle up a family feast if you wish and enjoy it together at the dining table. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and plenty of storage. Bedroom two has a single bed and plenty of storage. Outside, you have a small enclosed patio area with table and chairs, the perfect spot to sit and reflect on your day’s adventures.

Set in the heart of Watchet, you have a myriad of wonderful shops and restaurants on your doorstep to explore. Why not leave the car behind and step back in time aboard the West Somerset Steam Railway, which chugs merrily along the West Somerset Coastline and through the countryside, linking Minehead to Bishops Lydeard. Exmoor is within easy reach by car, with its winding roads and plentiful tea rooms to explore, as well as seeing the famous Exmoor ponies in their natural habitat. The seaside town of Minehead is close by and offers a more traditional seaside fare of arcades, shops and restaurants.

Number 110 is a modern double glazed static caravan with two bedrooms but is only available for two people making this the perfect couples’ retreat. Open up the patio doors and let the outside in and enjoy the sea views over towards Wales from the decking and fully enclosed garden area, perfect for your four-legged friend the perfect place to watch the sunset. St Audries Bay Waterfall is on the private beach and the Quantock Hills is an area of wilderness and tranquillity. It is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which means that its distinctive character and cultural heritage are in the nation’s interest to safeguard them. Physically the Quantock Hills offer great diversity, reflecting the relationship between the geology, slopes and exposure of the area, and the range of past and present human activities and influences. Panoramic views lead you through coast, heath and combe. Explore and you will find rocky Jurassic coastline, exposed heathland summits, deep wooded combes, undulating farmland and attractive villages, all within this protected landscape. Stunning Exmoor National Park is just 20 minutes drive. And access by car to other areas such as Bristol, Exeter, the northern coastal region and beyond are within easy reach due to the proximity of the M5 motorway.

The Grade II* listed stable conversion (PFFH) is part of the only longhouse in Wiltshire and dating back to the 13th century, is the oldest house in the village. Colerne has a good selection of shops and pubs but only a short bus journey, 7 miles, will take you into Bath and Chippenham. Set in the lovely village of Bishopswood, with the Somerset Wildlife Trust running adjacent to the property, you are only 5-minutes’ walk from the local pub and surrounded by miles of beautiful walks. The market town of Honiton is just 10 miles away and the beach at Lyme Regis can be reached within a 30-minute drive. Heading north, you will find the county town of Taunton with lots of restaurants, cinema, bowling and shopping, and within an hour’s drive you will find Glastonbury, Street, Minehead and the moors of Exmoor! This attractive stone built holiday cottage, in the grounds of the owner’s home, is on the edge of the pretty village of Wookey Hole, famous for its spectacular caves and legendary home of the infamous Witch of Wookey.
